Why? The NFL is a passing league now and both of them project to be good-great coverage linebackers in the NFL. Literally Mack is still being considered a top 2 round talent because of his athleticism/ability to cover.

He has struggled having to be the signal caller, but if he got drafted he wouldn't need to call signals and thus would be able to play in the defense. Same with Moses.

Now obviously I'm glad it appears he is coming back, but run stopping is not a priority anymore.

To be a great NFL LB you have to do both well. Stopping the run is still a priority, and Mac and Moses are both really bad at shedding blocks and stuffing gaps. Neither of them would be 1st rounders this year, even if Moses were eligible. It almost makes me wonder about Golding coaching ILBs as we’ve always had great ILB play until this year.
