The ACC snuck in 2 teams this year by gaming the system.

Plus - one of them got a bye week.

In all seriousness - If the playoff was expanded to 6 I don’t think it would be as big of an issue, but the fact there is only 4 spots and you allow an independent to grab one that plays 1 less game is a middle finger to the power 5.

Now, all the ND homers will say they play a harder schedule than most teams because they don’t play any FCS teams.

Well, Ball St., Navy, and Wake Forrest aren’t exactly top tier FBS teams either.

If they were forced into the ACC in football like they are all other sports they would have either played Clemson already, or would have last week and that would’ve settled the whole debate.

But, here we are again. Notre Dane will be exposed - again, but they will always get the benefit of the doubt. Always.

Because, according to the experts: Notre Dame being in the college football playoff is good for the sport. Whatever the hell that means.

Expanding it to 6 would be great.

Here is my issue. The committee had to pray that GA lost the SECCG. Otherwise, you would have had 2 of 5 power conferences in the playoffs.

Bottom line is GA got penalized for playing the number one team--- a team they led for most of the game.

ND just adds to it because they exclude another P5 conference.

Again, I am not saying ND is overrated this year. But if they are murdered by Clemson, it should be part of any conversation.
