ND’s schedule was as good or better than the other three teams in the playoff. Also as good as Ohio St, UGA or anybody else close to the top.
Plus LSU has no right denigrate ND being that you have lost to them the last two times you have played them. Obviously they are pretty good or either LSU is just a terrible team.
It is pretty easy to discern that they earned a slot in the playoffs this year. They will not get destroyed by Clemson. In fact, I will not be surprised if the win the game outright.

Go look at ND’s adjusted strength of schedule this year and you tell me how it compares. Even without playing FCS teams their SoS is worse than teams that played 3 FCS schools.
