Goes both ways though. South Carolina got a better bowl than Missouri probably because of playing Clemson despite having a worse record.
Vandy got a better bowl too despite being 6-6 (they played @ Notre Dame).

They did? Both bowls were in the middle grouping of 6. They’re on the same footing.
