To be clear, if you watch the 2004 bowl game.....you clearly see Saban laughing on the sideline. Saban NEVER laughs or smiles.
It was the Louisiana joke of the time period.....
"Welp! I guess Saban IS going to the NFL. He was laughing and joking on the sideline. So you KNOW he gone."
Plus, if you know the relation between him and Emmert.....you DEFINITELY know the conditions of why he left and the sour taste in his mouth afterwards.
Iowa just happened to be a benefactor of LSU drama.
