WTF is wrong with some of you?

Making threads and posts about which kids you want gone, while some of the same frickers will ride or die with a mediocre basketball coach that has barely recruited for 8 years.
Some of the same frickers that would get on here and defend that fat, drunk, lazy Bert, weekend after weekend.
Some of the same frickers that just loved what Jeff Long was doing for our program. All of this is his fault, all of it. Not the players, not CCMFM, not JCP, not Frank Broyles, not Rick’s haircut, not that skank on the motorcycle, none of them.
Jeff Long is the reason we are here.
Y’all should be ashamed in participating in that thread, but that’s probably a good indicator to why Arkansas Athletics sucks, it’s a direct reflection on their local fan base.

Let me guess, it’s all Long’s fault because he fired Petrino? I believe some of the money shenanigans Petrino had going to side piece was against state law. Don’t think he had much choice. Petrino was a good coach, but he put his dick ahead of the program.

Well, to be fair, Jeff Long also shoulders some of this shite.
He fricked up by hiring a lazy moron to take Petrinos place.

I don’t remember anyone thinking it was the end of the world when Smile was hired. There were folks right here talking him up, and saying it was best for consistency and continuity. Obviously he was a moron, but most thought a moron could win with that team. I’m no big Jeff Long fan, but we have to put things in perspective. What Petrino did was going to have repercussions, even years down the road.
Then Bert gets hired, and is too lazy to accomplish anything in the SEC, and quits on the job essentially. Now people think Morris should be able to fix the culture in one year. If that shite takes hold, we might as well drop the football program. We don’t deserve it anyway.

Oh, I agree with your sentiments entirely. I fully blame Bobby Petrino for the current state of this program. But Long shoulders some of it as well for making an absolutely terrible hire in Brett Bielema.
Arkansas, due to many factors, can't absorb big hits like some other, more fortunate, schools can (think Kentucky basketball. One of the dirtiest teams of all time yet continues to thrive). When Arkansas has a PR disaster, it's detrimental.

To be fair, Smile did a better job with the year 5 Petrino program than Kragthorpe or Bobby Petrino himself.
If chad wasn't so opposed to having a ST coach, I wouldn't mind seeing Johnelle back on campus in that capacity.

Bert turned out to be mediocre, but you can't deny that on paper it looked like a great hire.
I wanted the fat Sumbitch fired too, but his resume was more impressive than HDN.

That really isn't saying much.
HDN had one year of FBS experience if you want to call it that as Boise moved up from FCS that year. He had a losing season that year.
He and Ford on paper were probably the best hires Arkansas has made. A NC, Rosebowls, conference titles, etc. They would definitely be "top tier" on paper.
Next tier would be Holtz and Petrino, by coincidence both quit the NFL their first season, both succeeded prior in "weaker conferences". I guess you can lump Hatfield into this tier as what he did at Air Force was "unbelievable" because it was Air Force.
Bottom tier you have HDN, Chad, Frank, Crowe. All had losing records as a HC, all had very minimal experience as a HC, interestingly enough HDN and Frank had very long tenures here filled with the most success seen by the program in different areas.
