Are the Seven Years of Tribulation Almost Up?

Some more BoarEd (bored) musings...
Did anyone here follow that feller Terrence McKenna's theory about the technological singularity?
It was the main influence behind the 2012 Mayan calendar doom porn.
Anyways, it seems to me that this dude may not have been far off the mark. I propose that we either have, or will shortly, cross the singularity threshold. I think the Catholic Church is about to be dismantled as was prophesied marking this Pope the last in the line of Popes and the end of the church. I think the temple is about to be rebuilt in Jerusalem, and I think we are going to see all of these things at pretty much the same time we reach the technological singularity.
These things are happening right before our eyes.
Interesting times. So, beyond all the shite talking we do on here, I hope everyone can remember to be excellent to each other. It'll be worth it in the end. And we don't have to wait too long to see.

Maybe. Things are pretty rough out there currently.
There is a lot of stuff going on the vast majority of people aren't aware of. And there is a global effort underway to enslave each and every one of us.

Also, I would point out that the war for control of this world is fought primarily in the esoteric realm. By our very nature, as we move more towards secularism, we become less and less aware of the true forces that move the machinations of society.

Things are supposed to happen in the physical realm too. Mark of the beast, death of Babylon/the great whore, etc
I saw about a year or so ago some company in Europe was considering chipping its employees. Certainly there are signs we're getting there but I don't think we're actually there yet

China is currently pilot testing a social media ranking system that determines your credit worthiness. 
Think mark of the beast on steroids. And that's happening now.
ETA: The Netflix Original Series Black Mirror had an episode called Nosedive that explores this a bit. This social media ranking system. Essentially the jist is that this thing is pure evil. Where the slightest impropriety can destroy your entire life.
ETA#2: The mere fact that fiction mirrors reality like this should warn us that the singularity is near/upon us.

Well... as an Arkansas fan I can certainly say we are in Seven Years of Tribulation.
