Because we couldn't get a D1 game that wouldn't hurt our RPI/new metric. DII games don't count, so it won't bring it RPI down.

these guys can shoot the ball...went on a 7-0 run and cut it to 13...outplaying us badly right now

This. Only way playing a D2 school hurts your RPI is if you lost. Otherwise it's like it never happened.
