Ok I hear you. Well to be honest that type of attitude isn't just reserved for athletes it's also the way soceity has become.

I mean I agree and what's wrong with it?

Everyone has to get theirs.

I know it isn't close to the same as college sports, but if a competitor came to you with a highly lucrative offer that you know your current role couldn't match, would you take it? Knowing that if you left, you'd essentially be fricking your old team over because they wouldn't have anyone to fill that spot for a bit?

Dude youre flip flopping all over the place. Youre just trying to play devils advocate any which way.

Fornette and McCaffrey LOVE their schools. Fornette still gives to LSU, and grew up down there. There is a huge difference in competing in a bowl game that will not give you anything for your team at all on your third year, especially if you have a history of injuries, vs going to your rival and watching their game vs. watching your own.

If you can't see that then I'm done with this argument. Loyalty to your team in football is massively more prevalent. They have the "We're going to war with each other" mentality and "being in the trenches" together.

You're asking someone that doesn't believe money and prestige is what makes a person. If I was already making decent money and had a great working relationship with my peers and the company has looked out for me then no I wouldn't jump to the new job. As you get older your understand the other variables.
