Sorry, but i dont agree with this at all for football. Maybe in basketball for sure. Kyrie played like 10 games for duke and left. they dont care.

Football is different. You see the bond the guys have on the field. Its three years of their lives.

You see it in college games where players like DJ Swearinger smack down a clemson guy and taunt him cuz their rivals...Or Offensive players getting mad and steppin up cuz someone hit your qb late.

You see after NFL games the gamecock players like damiere byrd, hayden hurst, and Captain Munnerlyn taking pictures together, you see them ball out for their team and still dap each other up like Jonathan Joseph and bruce.

I can't really express how much I disagree.

Totally agree with your post. Much more loyalty in football than basketball. You just don't see football players that have transfered going back to the other school during a game no less. Everyone can say it was no harm but if that was how everyone actually felt there wouldn't be multiple threads on multiple forums with hundreds of post.

I feel ya, but Im talking about highly touted not any of the ones you mentioned.
Those guys need everything to be middle of the road draft picks.

Guys that come in with all the accolades from the start and do well their first year already know. They do well enough to know where they will be drafted, and know exactly what is coming. They know well in advance where they are going to be picked.

Joey Bosa, Leonard Fournette, Christian McCaffery etc.

Yes It's a bond but for them their ultimate goal is get to the NFL, not win the SEC or a national title.

Just my opinion.
