Wild Card teams in the NFL and MLB don’t have to go on the road and play at least two highly ranked conference teams before they can play for the championship? Wow. Didn’t know that.

Had the teams ahead of Bama not lost, Bama wouldn't have made it in. We got lucky, no one is arguing against that.
Kinda like when LSU became the first 2 loss team to ever make it into the Championship game. If I recall correctly, you needed Missouri to lose late that year and they did so y'all squeeked in.

No one bitching about that, sometimes the cards fall your way and sometimes they don't but only 1 fanbase cries the frick over it ALL THE TIME damn near 8 years later.

I’m not crying or whining. That’s what you bitches say on the internet. At least the 2 loss 2007 team won the division and the best conference and earned it on the field. Wouldn’t feel right to me to sit at home on conference championship Saturday and go right into the NC game. What sport would let a wildcard team sit at home and let the division winners eliminate each other and then get a chance to play for a NC. That don’t make no sense. You know it.

Well people still to this day give LSU shite about that title so yeah, no

The problem with the 2011 season was more so the rematch than the conference champ angle, at least for me. And the “bye” week Alabama got in December
