re: How about this Auburn controversy

I’m a supporter of freedom of religion and the 1st Amendment and disagree with this move, but the whole Auburn As a Spiritual Experience has always been sanctimonious, cultish and off-putting. The Ring Ceremony, the Creed and a lot of their university culture is just wack.

Gene Chizik called his national championship season a “God thing”. They ate it up before they fired him. Gag me.
