We gave that motherfricker a 3 year pass before anyone was allowed to dare speak out against him even though he had a 3-9 season to start. I'm not saying we shouldn't hold coaches accountable but it pisses me off seeing the double standard

What’s worse is the lack of hate for him putting us in this position. If I hear “hell Bert would’ve done this or that” I want to break my phone. Shitty coach and shitty recruiter, hence this mess.

Here are the questions that Coach Hammer Down must address.

shite season this year.

shite schedule in DWRRS next year

Making promises to recruits he can't keep

fricking KJ Jefferson and Conner Noland if Bryant comes here, not to mention Hyatt, Jones and Storey.

Dealing with another 3-5 win season and the Arkansas media.

Twitter shite storm will be hot on his heels in year 2-3

I don't think he can get it done but maybe he learns coaching in the SEC on the fly.

Fat frick damn sure didn't!

Anyone halfway realistic expected a shite season this year. Sure, it’s been extra shitty, with losses to teams we shouldn’t lose to regardless of the coach, but, yeah. Expected.

? You mean an extra tough schedule? Schedule is pretty much beyond his control, isn’t it?

no, only 2 sec games next season at Fayetteville.

the marquee OOC game is … Colorado State...

It is the worst schedule at home, we have had in a long time

you realize schedules are made years In advance and the Hc has very little say in the scheduling department right? This is more of an ad question.

so wait we shouldn't get the best players available? I dont see what the gripe is. If we get kb it will only increase competition the best man for the job will start. If a player is afraid of competition do we really want him here anyway?

And that’s Morris’ fault? I thought scheduling was done years in advance, unless someone cancels or the like.

Some of you motherfrickers need to chill the hell out. I'm as hot tempered as they come but I seem to be the only one that doesn't have an over-emotional response on a weekly basis.
Did anyone seriously expect us to not struggle?
Is Morris in over his head? Maybe, but I doubt it. Give the guy more than 1 season. We're pretty hampered right now on offense, I like Storey but he's at best mediocre. We have one receiver that can create space and he's a Morris recruit. Our starting RB can't hold on to the ball, and our Oline is patchwork. Our D has little depth, and although I do like our aggressive play it's feast or famine. I don't think Chavis is the answer, he has to have elite players to make it work. Although he has helped in recruiting.
I don't think Morris will be all that loyal, if Chavis doesn't work I think Morris will can him in a heartbeat.
And before anyone says you need elite talent on D, just look at MSU. They aren't elite but they play hard and have great fundamentals.

Sorry for the long post, I just get tired of some of our fans...same ole same ole.

I do realize that Jeff Long did this, still doesn't diminish the fact that Morris will have to deal with low attendance and ticket sales.

Do you actually believe there will be a legit QB competition if KB comes here.

I'm just tickled that a lot of the people who accuse me of being a miserable person for ANY negative criticism of our basketball program have absolutely no problem shitting on a first year head coach in a comparatively harder league.

Yeah no shite. Mike Anderson gets the bert treatment. I'm sure when we miss the tournament year 1 with our next bball coach when he inherits Mike's mess people will be calling for his head too

They have 2 elite defensive linemen in sweat, and Jefferson (jefferies) whatever his name is. Then they have 2 other vert solid players, and guys behind them they are not afraid to sub in.

Yeah State has upper level NFLdraft talent on their DL currently. Hopefully Caldwell gets that out of this first class but we definitely don’t have the same class of players right now.

You are speaking with the benefit of hindsight.

Bielema proved to be a very bad hire. But leniency was benefited to him for 2 main reasons:

1. Resume - we all know now that Bielema's Wisconsin resume was built and maintained by Alverez. It was also aided by a ridiculously easy schedule. However, compare Morris' and Bielema's HC resume coming into their first year here and you understand why Bielema might have been given a little more leniency. "Stealing" a coach from a P5 program vs. G5 tends to make some fans feel better as well.

2. Recency of success - A 3-9 season sucks but it feels like a aberration when your program is 2 years removed from an 11 win season and your current head coach has had success somewhere. In hindsight the 3-9 season and going winless in conference was a sign of a bad coach. Morris now has a fanbase that is and has been pissed off for many years... so he faces the byproduct of disappointment. If he goes 2-10 and winless in conference the anger will fully turn to apathy for about 90% of the fan base.

He'll have a plethora of 2019 commits to work with.

9 DL commits vs 3 OL commits
