You can't know that for certain. You can make that argument, but you can't know for certain. A huge difference is that there is a real, tangible threat to run with Emory Jones.

Opposing teams will let Franks run it EVERY DAY. The chances of him not just fumbling, but of dancing to find the hole and running like a baby giraffe are so high that they will let him do it all the time.

You know why we got that pass interference? Because the opposing defense doesn't know what's coming. It is monumentally more difficult to gameplan a mobile Quarterback with good playcalling than it is for a pocket passer with good playcalling. It's the fourth game Franks hasn't passed for over 115 yards in three quarters this year.

There are Quarterbacks who have 115 yards in a single quarter. I like our chances a lot more with Emory (because I know he needs to be ready next year) than watching Franks go out and eat plates of shite every down.
