If it’s a sprain then the remedy should be rest. If it’s a torn meniscus then it’s going to hurt until it’s repaired but even that can be put off. I tore mine a few years ago. Couldn’t bend my leg for a week, hurt to walk on it for a month, but eventually it only hurt if I was trying to fully bend it. I walked 60 miles through the Appalachian mountains last spring on a knee that’s never been surgically repaired.

I honestly hope he sits this week and the bye week out entirely then starts taking reps in practice during LSU week. 2 weeks of staying off the leg and getting treatment will go a long way towards getting fully healed if it is indeed a sprain. If it’s a torn meniscus then it’ll go a long way towards pain reduction, but that will be an injury that can flare up at the slightest knock going forward
