Really feel good going into this game about our chances. Watching Georgia play LSU, Missouri, and Tenn. I think we are legitimately a better team. I called this a loss all off-season and for the first five weeks. Not now.
Georgia is young, and has a lot more issues than people realize from what I saw.
Their front seven is not that good. LSU exposed it. Burrow had a ton of time to throw as well. I feel we can punish them on the ground all game.
They could do damage as well on the ground. We have to force them outside where our speed is a force. Can't let them run behind that godly center all game. So really hope we scheme to protect the middle of the field.
Their CB is a monster. The rest of the secondary is okay but not that worrisome. UK, MSU, and LSU have better defenses. So we will put up points.
The big key is stopping the big play. Especially their backs with screens and big runs. We have to force Fromm to beat us. Which we can. If we can shut down the run on early downs, Chaney will abandon it. Fromm is not good when flustered, and our pass rush can get to him.
Now I know everyone fears Fields. I don't. Not yet. Not his first game if he is put in a significant amount of time. Tua is a rare circumstance. Fields will be great. But our defense is very aggressive and that's a bad situation for a QB finally being asked to throw a decent amount.
End of the day. I see us having a lot of advantages. Georgia has them too. But I trust Mullen to out coach Smart in this game. Will def have some points scored.
Florida - 34
Georgia - 27

Eason is great
he sucks
Fromm is great
He sucks
Fields is great....
See a trend of these 5 star UGA QB's?? Im not scared of them until they can prove something on the field and not croot hype.

I think Florida has a good chance if they can stop the run and avoid big negative plays like they had against Vandy.

Their run game is legit. The key is to make their OC abandon it early. Take the chance and load the box. Take away the middle run game and force their plays outside which plays to our defensive strength. If they can establish a strong run game up the middle that spells trouble.

I had put on Twitter, as a question:
Why do you think Freshman Quarterbacks keep beating out Georgia Quarterbacks who have already spent time in the system?
The obvious answer is that Kirby can't develop them. Big news for us, we really need that to be the case, and I think we got our wish.

I trust Mullen.
I worry about Grantham and the D getting too aggressive. Every week I find myself asking who we're going to lose on a bs targeting call, and how badly will it affect our depth.
Vosean will be tasked with covering Nauta for a lot of the game, so if he makes a dumb late hit on a Fields WC play or some shite in the 1st quarter, we will be absolutely fricked.

Nah, I like the aggressiveness. Teams will score on big plays, and it'll happen from time to time, but with the type of offense Mullen runs it's almost like we want them to score quick so we can keep grinding their defense to a halt.
That's exactly what happened in the Vanderbilt game. They looked tired, out of position, mentally out of the game and we just ran it right at them.

Yep. And we can run at these bulldogs. Will be a game where we want to control the pace. Long tough drives are a bigger success than quick hitters early. Let them wear down.

We have a tendency to start slow...so don't panic.

I don't panic now.
Didn't panic at all vs Vandy. Trusted Mullen.
Got nervous vs LSU after their long drive with two easy runs. But man...this team knows how to win now.
