Our first choice? Or Krby's first choice. Because nobody asked me my opinion. You still don't get it that Kirby okays a game plan, then he makes adjustments at halftime. Kirby runs the show, not Chaney.

Just curious. Does anybody on this board know how a college game plan is put together, or do most of you just know when it is wrong?

Basically after HOURS of film analysis the coordinators along with their position coaches sit down and come up with the game plan according to what they have seen on film. A "chalk talk" session meeting which is led by the coordinator implements in what he wants put in offensively/defensively for that specific week in practice for the team to work on for Saturday. Beside the X's and O's they talk personnel and potential mismatches they'd like to exploit. They also have to prep offensive plays and defensive alignments/coverages for the scout team to run that week in practice as well.
