He made a few mistakes but he was nails down the stretch and I love that he will throw the ball away rather than take a sack when he can. He is improving. The guy is tough as nails and he has pretty darned food pocket presence as well. He threw one away with a linebacker draped on him and was strong enough to get it out of bounds near a UF receiver. Very durable and I think he has great accuracy when he is certain the ball is going to the right place. Even those little option pitches, he waited fo the end to commit before he pitched it. No hurry. He is getting better and I give credit to Mullen.

Agreed only made one big mistake. He was enough of a run threat to make that rocker step and the short side option work.

When he threw the pick he was being hit straight on by a 300+ lb DL right in his chest. He only threw two passes that I thought were slightly off. With Franks 2018 version you are not seeing passes behind WRs when they are running their route...he is pretty spot on.
The # 1 improvement from last year imo is he stands tall in the pocket and doesn't get happy feet and only runs out of the pocket to avoid sacks and he is looking for WRs as he does so or he will throw it away. Hard for QBs to learn that its better to throw it away and live for another down. The next thing is the weight he put on and the ability to run. He can only get better with more and more snaps. Mullen has been a great teacher and you can see that Franks is having fun on the field.

I think our route concepts are more simplified to where if Franks feels pressure he knows where WRs will be. I’m not saying our offense is easy or simple, but that Franks is grasping it better than he did macs offense.
