I use it. I use it around black people. I do NOT use it around people I'm not extremely comfortable with, regardless of color.

This. I use it....sparingly. My main reason for not using it? Honestly I don't sound very "cool" when I say it

I speak with a pretty bland, neutral, almost Midwestern accent, so even though I'm black I sound like a poser when I drop an N-bomb

I NEVER use it around my parent. They don't care the race of the speaker at all--they shut that shite down regardless.
