Heading down there from BR. What is the best thing to do/places to drink on gameday and also the Friday night before

If you're not an idiot and are using a cup you shouldn't have much problem with drinking in public

LSU fans always bitch about the cops, but if you follow the fricking state law you’ll be fine. Bring solo cups and it’s not an issue. I’ve been going to games my entire life and never had a problem with the UF cops.
Go to midtown. There’s plenty of places. The Oaks mall has a Buffalo Wild Wings if you’re trying to watch games before/afterwards.

I posted this last year for you all. I hope it helps.

They don't have much tailgating or many bars close to campus.

Campus is huge and you can also just pay to park at a private lot and not worry about anything.
