It shows in his inability to bring successful coaches to AU. Steele proved to be a good hire but he has bounced around and most of us were not thrilled when the hire was made. We wanted Aranda but this board said no way would he leave Wisconsin; of course he did for you naysayers. Chip was not a great hire and this offense continues to be our weakness especially in recruiting. Chip is a young guy and also doesn't seem to have people he wants to bring in. Kodi has done great in recruiting but are our receivers better? Routes are designed by OC (poor and predictable) and technique by position coach so perhaps Kodi has done ok. Horten can’t recruit elite backs. Grimes, i just don’t know.
