I don’t know anyone that pronounces window like that but the accents vary from state to state.

I’ve heard some southerners say warter instead of water. Also, like someone else mentioned, ‘on’ pronounced ‘own.’

Oh and oil pronounced ul. I also know some folks that would say tars instead of tires.

I used to date a woman from Texas who said “winda”, and I’ve heard the same pronunciation during the hurricane tv coverage in the Carolinas. I also have relatives in Tennessee who say it that way. Not so in Alabama?
