Mizzou allowed Missouri State to score over 40 points on them in the first game last year. Mizzou did not play like a power five school until the Kentucky game when they started showing life and lost close to the Wildcats on the road. Purdue was right in the middle of that period. The Tigers were every bit as bad as the Purdue score indicated. I think Mizzou can go 9-3 this year; these next two games will be a good indication on whether that is pie in the sky or a real possibility. Beat Purdue and compete with Georgia would be a good indicator. Get beat by Purdue and destroyed by Georgia, they are looking down the barrel of trips to Alabama and South Carolina and the season spinning out of control.
