As of last night, no. In the Miami game, they threw downfield successfully, called slants, crossing routes, etc. I liked what I saw even with going conservative in the 2nd half.
Yesterday was Miles ball with 2 WR routes, no slants, no screens, no crossing routes, no play-action and repetitive plays that all looked the same with no open WRs. It's possible they just called the most boring game ever that wasn't very effective, but Ensminger doesn't strike me as the type to spice things up much. With last night's offense, LSU can't challenge for the West. But we'll know more even if they lose to Auburn by what kind of plays are called on offense. They are very inexperienced as a group, but very talented at WR and could do damage with the right play calling.
