Is this guy real? Its on ESPN college football now. He should be glad THEY slowed down or it could have been 44-3. Was he dropped as a child?

Lmfao.

This week just keeps getting better, and yeah I had already made the comment that it's one of the problems with the hurry up. You get to tire their defense out, they get to take a break by pretending to be injured.

Don't complain, just fricking win, Taggart.

Probably wishes they had faked at the goal line to get some extra time to review the non-TD.

He has a point though. Especially the player who was walking back to the LOS and then suddenly was "injured" well after the play. Lots of teams do it but VaTeck was way to obvious with it.

His "point" should be that we had horrible coaching and Fuentes & Foster molested us and then STFU. They got manhandled....deal wit it.

You make that point when you're winning (Saban), not after you got stomped at home and your team looked like hot garbage.

I hear you. I'm just saying that VT was pretty obviously using it to their advantage. Especially after FSU would have a big play and they needed to get a fresh body in. It wouldn't have changed the W/L but it definitely helped keep FSU out of a rhythm.

I totally acknowledge that it's dishonorable and that they're exploiting a rule, but the answer to that isn't: Cry to the press.

The answer to that is retool your offense. Now you have extra time to prepare the next play/series, it's only a detriment if you haven't prepared anything.

It's how defenses stop the up-tempo, you can complai nabout it or change your offense.

I would implement both, when they're on their heels I'd start to go with power after speed, they can only sub one person, the rest are probably tired and even if they get a quick breather we can still exploit that.

Adapt, don't whine I think is what the football world is saying.

When your offense is totally dependent on running tempo, that means you don’t have good Xs and Os. That’s called a gimmick offense.

Uptemp isn't a gimmick offense though. And I didn't watch much of the game so I may be wrong but there are times when teams want to go uptempo to catch the other team off guard.

I think ATL is basically saying that when your entire offensive premise is exclusive to up-tempo, as in your team will fall apart if it doesn't work the way you want it to.

I think all offenses, especially in these days, should have a mixture of offenses, and obviously if something isn't work you should be smart enough to have a backup plan.

Taggart didn't have any of that.

Remember the hurry up caused them problems anyway...what damn game did Taggart watched? They had motions penalties because of it and they were NEVER competent on offense during the game. Other than 1 long run...they sucked. And they couldn't score after that long run got them to the Tech six yd line....Ron Zook Field emptied pretty quick then.

I was about to say: Them going down didn't hurt them.

False starts, stupid penalties and horrendous playcalling were the problems. I look forward to him having to change his offense around yet again and re-re-recalling it Gulf-Coast.

To be fair in the interview I saw reporters lead him into making comments on it.

And VTech did in fact do it there is zero doubt.

If it we're our team we'd be mad so I don't blame noles for being mad but they can't say that lost the game. Taggart lost it. Cause bad coach

We have a right to be mad, he doesn't. We have a right to say something, he doesn't. The right thing to say is: "Well, I'm not sure that even really matters. We have a lot more things to fix outside that."

Anything other than that and you sound like a whiny baby.
