I shouldn't upvote it, but I did.

Doesn’t matter if OP is trolling or not when he’s correct. South Carolina has one of the most prepubescent beta male QBs in the entire FBS and they think he’s some sort of savior. I don’t get it really.

I like Carolina and Muschamp but they benefitted from a terrible east division last year so I don't know how good they really are. I hope they are good this year.

I'll take the OP as meaning exactly what it says on the label.

After the first game, my take is:

1) This could be a very good offense. They have all the tools as far as rb, wr, te, and ol go. Whether this unit or that is as good as Georgia, Clemson, or whoever, I don't know. But they should be able to do big things.

Bentley is the key. This offense is as good as he is. He looked good, but he is going to face defenses a lot better going forward.

We'll see.

2) Coastal had a veteran line (something like all 5 ol starters returning?). But we didn't get much pass rush with our base defensive line, and had to use blitzes to get to the qb.

That's the biggest weakness I can see. I was hopeful we had guys who could generate one this year with Wonnum, Kinlaw, and even Sterling, but it sure didn't look like it yesterday.

My two cents. Little less optimistic about Georgia than I was before week 1. But you usually see the biggest improvement between games 1 and 2.

Anyway I thought before the season only Georgia and Clemson would have better talent than we had this year. We have either better or roughly equivalent talent to everyone on our schedule besides them, with better against most opponents.

A&M is a wildcard to me. Did Sumlin recruit softies, or will a new staff whip them into shape? At least according to star ratings they should be better than we are.

We'll see.
