I thought that we just put a LS on scholarship during the spring... did I dream that?

We did, but our starter is hurt and our coaches are just being proactive, thinking ahead and not being shy about it. Gotta love that.
We've still got one on the roster but you gotta have a spare deep snapper or two because those guys take a beating ... head slaps, bull rushes, hand stomps.
Probably the most underrated position, and least appreciated, on a team yet so damn important it's incredible if we stop to think about the key situations in a game where they are depended upon.
We've also got two schollie OLinemen we can use in a pinch that did it in HS but we evidently do not want to depend upon them in a win or lose kicking situation.
I kinda like it that our coaches are paying this much attention to detail. They'll be two dozen students out there competing for the job this weekend.

The kicker always gets the heat but many of those missed field goals were not Parker White's fault. Hope they get this unit together. We left too many points on the field last season.

I used to hang out with Ike Crofoot some in college. He is the GOAT LS if you ask me. Guy could pound beers, too.

Cro was a wild and crazy kid. He had some skills with a football though. I wanna say he was connected to SPURrier somehow. Parents maybe. Yeah, I think they came by the Cockaboose for something one time for some reason come to think of it ... and they mentioned something about being friends with SPURrier, or was it one of the BOTs? They were connected somehow, I just can't remember.
In the meantime they may have found a third and fourth deep snapper but they're going to need some work, some fine tuning, and let's hope we don't end-up having to go that deep.
