I like the 3 new logos they did. I also like the idea of the landshark. It's original and started organically like any good tradition.
They really did miss the mark on the Mascot design though. But it's so much better than the bear.

NBC originated the land shark on SNL in the 1970's
Oliver Stone gave us "fins up" in the movie Any Given Sunday in 1999
(pre production timeframes mean 1998 was the initial dates, hence 20 years old)
This is almost as bad as NBC spending 5 to 10 million dollars for their red and blue N when they had copied the Bank of Nebraska.

The real problem I see with it is two things:
1. Ole Miss has had one year that their defense could be considered good every other year it is terrible and not worthy of any cool nickname like LandShark!
2. Landshark was NOT invented by them and was a freaking Saturday Night Live skit back in the 70's.
