great, and in his last 6 years in Lubbock, he averaged 4 losses a season.
Texas Tech is in Lubbock. They last outright conference title they won was when they were a member of the Border Conference in 1955. Did you know that Texas Tech was in the Border Conference in 1955?

He went 1-5 against Texas.
The refs fricked him against tu. It's well documented.

The Big 12 was total butt cheese while he was there, and they didn't play defense, which worked out great for a coach like Leach.
In the early 2000s, the Big 12 South was the best division in college football. Better than the SEC West. Better than the SEC East.

In all his years as a coach, he has had 1 season with more than 9 wins.
He's coached at Texas Tech and Washington State.

Very telling that no one has hired him at a major program. UTn was in desperation mode at the time they tried to. He's almost 60 years old and has never won a coference title or finished in the top 10. I guess he's just the latest bloomer ever in the history of college football?

well if he's the great coach you seem to be saying he is, surely he would have gotten a better offer by now?

well, Leach's last 6 years were from 2004-2009, so what does it matter what the Big 12 was in the early 2000s?
