Is this really still a thing? I feel like the gap in injuries between turf and real grass has basically gone away. I could be wrong...and even if I'm not perception can still have influence when it's not reality.

Treadwell injury, AUburn @ Mississippi 2014, caused the Wowdy Webels to switch back to real grass.
Of course, I understand it is much more expensive to cultivate grass, Vs. cost of plastic, divided by years of serviceable life.
