I'm speaking more to the level of excessive pettiness here. I realize people dig up dirt on their opponent/enemy but I have not seen conservatives shaming innocent people to this level and degree for things they put on social media however many years ago.

It has gotten ridiculous. Blanket statements solely blaming either side are just white noise at this point. They are the mantra of social media pawns.
Anyone can dig this stuff up it its out there. Im guessing Lock and his handlers know this and are making a pre emptive move that they believe is +EV.
