I don't think you understand how conference expansion works. The SEC has enough blue bloods. You don't want to add teams unless you are increasing your TV footprint. A&M and Mizzou provide this, they were added because they add value. OU may be a blue blood but are that many more people going to watch them play? Are you willing to divide your share of SEC TV money with a team that doesn't add a TV footprint?

Oklahoma City and Tulsa certainly bring in TV markets that are equal to most in the SEC.
