Don't put it past Dooley taking the mizzou oc gig to set himself up for the saban replacement gig. If he does well as an OC he'll have a solid resume experience wise.

Maybe to replace o if that comes up in around 3 seasons IF he is doing it on his own, and Dooley to mizzou isnt a closed door hand shake agreement to be seriously looked at when bama comes up.

To the OPs question...bama can definitely fumble post-saban harder than we saw at UT. Talent is helpful, but rest is hard to replicate. Why it wouldnt surprise me if bama is setting post-saban pieces already.

That is only because UT was dumb enough to leave Fulmer in there after the decline started. My guess Saban will retire with his last game being a NC. Fulmer and his supporters could not see what was happening until it was to late.
