His show is an unwatchable bumpkin fest. I have no idea how he became popular.

He got popular at a time when Bama was in turmoil and AU was winning. He successfully stirred the pot and became the main outlet for neck fans before social media. Finebaum could fill an entire show and pack the phone lines with some mundane topic.
