North Endzone is going to be awhile because you've got to fight Eddie Floyd
true - it's unfortunate, but it is what it is.

Hyman jumped the gun with the video board upgrade ... it was needed but he should have done the upgrades to the North Endzone before installing the new video board.
am I off in thinking the beast board was constructed in a manner that future renovations to the North stands could be done without structurally affecting the scoreboard? either way, working around or having to deconstruct the supports/board to re-do the North stands ain't gonna be easy/inexpensive.

I don't anticipate any box/suite/luxury seating can be accomplished in the Floyd building with the speakers/sound from the beast board directly on top of it. the sound inside the building has to be pretty intense during the game.

convert the top floor that looks into W-B into something that complements the student section and does include a sports bar atmosphere for young alumni that still wanna to party as if they were still students. the main floor/remaining space could be a HOF/museum to for Letterman - and rededicate it in honor of Dr Ego, I mean Dr Eddie. bring him out to the 50 yd line pregame so we can all see/applaud him again. Kay & Eddie Floyd Gamecock Football HOF

as for the top floor air-conditioned sports bar, give young alum indoor/outdoor access from the building directly to sec 34 & 33 during the games. current students get 32->24.

as for other areas - sec 4.5.6 could be transitioned to chairbacks from bleachers. East Club also needs some major upgrading for the donors. would be great to convert EC into climate-controlled suites each with bar/bathroom and a few seats out in the open.

just spit-balling
