I don't think Tualia would have been pursued hard enough to commit to us if his brother wasn't our likely starting QB for the future and we weren't desperate for more QBs in our QB room.

Disagree completely. Kid is a 4-star, Elite 11 QB (who advanced to the Finals at the Opening) who will likely push into the top 100 overall players in this class. Acting like he's a low level 3-star with a couple of marginal offers is just silly. I know the fact that he isn't 6'6 completely discounts him as an elite college QB in your mind. But you're just wrong.

I'm also not a pansy and wouldn't dread seeing the hybrid clone-spawn of Cam Newton and Tom Brady lining up for auburn every year. Bring it on. I wanna play against the best. Anything else is a waste of time.

Bravado like this sounds really tough on a message board. If our rivals all had a hybrid of Brady/Cam at QB every year, you'd get tired of getting beat most years after a while and change your tune. As Saban says; "the fun is in the winning." I don't need our rivals to have an all-star roster to enjoy kicking the crap out of them every year and winning championships. To each their own.

Yup. I likewise disagree completely with everything you just said, including your assessment of what I think. Let's finish this conversation and agree to disagree.

Last thing, though. Nobody talks about Muhammad Ali vs Billy Daniels. Muhammad Ali became a global icon for his fights against the likes of Joe Frazier, George Foreman, and Sonny Liston. And if you had been Muhammad Ali, you would have remained a nobody cause you just "want to win." frick that shite completely. Play the best, and anything else is a waste of time because beating up on lesser competition isn't "winning." Winning is only sweet if it comes with the chance of defeat.

I'll leave you to it as I'm sure you've got some 2nd graders to arm wrestle or something.
