Mullen is a good coach, but as the OP's stats show, he is over-rated. UF is grossly overpaying for him. I think he will recruit well enough to start averaging 10 wins a season, but he will have to improve his gameday coaching to do any better than that.

Moorhead hit the nail on the head in his alumni talking points, which he repeated on Finebaum. MSU needs to improve its record in the conference, and that's where Mullen was coming up short. Mullen had one winning season in the SEC. Sherrill had 3 seasons of 5 or more SEC wins in his first 9 seasons.

Sour grapes.....just man up sport and accept the coach left for a better gig. The truth only hurts for a little while.
