Parking Re-assignment

Just curious, where did everyone park to tailgate in year's past? With the parking re-assignment, I have a feeling we will lose our great spot in the fairgrounds. Is Gamecock Park worth the extra money?

If it were me and we didn't already have more parking than we need in lots next to the stadium and down Key Road ... I would park for $30 a game in the lot at the end of Key Road. It's the best deal in town, angood crowd and an easy walk up Key Road to the stadium ... and easy access plus golf carts are always running people up and down the road. Last parking lot down from the stadium on Key Road on the right.

Today I learned that rooster owns the lot at the end of Key Road.

CG ... I think maybe they loved over on Rosewood? It must have been years ago when they were over on Key.
We always head to our parking off of Shop, then turn left on Idlewild and then right on Key. If the car is full and we have out of town guests following us in, we direct them to that first lot on the left headed toward the stadium to park and then we drop off at the gated railroad entrance and let the ladies wheel stuff to the Cockaboose while we go back and pick up guests and take them up to our spot near the dishes.
So anyways, that lot down there is sort of a secret place for some reason. First come first serve but it is a big lot and it always seems like good tailgating down there ... plus they have facilities.
Everyone who we've ever talked-to who has tailgated down there seems to love it. I've made the walk myself to visit friends and it's a breeze.
We've tailgated all over the place over the decades. It used to be a whole lot different ... but these days there are just so many little hidden gems here and there.
It's come a long ways over the years.

shite...it's on..or used to be on..Shop Rd. Idk why the hell I said Key. I think they were bought out by another company but idk the name. When you go down shop it's on the right. I avoid that area like the plague bc the tater ex-husband worked (maybe still works) there.
