There are some to end talent in play and am wondering why and who in the SEC stands to gain from it?

When New$pring churches start popping up in and around Tuscaloosa, Dabo to Bama is imminent.

All the transfers being Hunter Johnson and who else?

We could use another QB, just in case

We're getting Josh Belk
Looks like Clemson's checks didn't clear

The NCAA has been sniffing around up there and maybe the players are getting out while the getting is good. Plus I am sure once they got up there and saw all the retarded taters running around they started second guessing their decision

The last several years Clemson has lost 2-5 guys over the off-season to transfer. We lost a good DT last year to transfer and it wasn't a sign of impending doom. It happens at a lot of programs that have talented rosters.
And it's not because Clemson is processing these kids as we haven't been trying to squeeze our roster down after oversigning like some programs.
Josh Belk is a weird situation all the way around. Hunter Johnson makes sense if he thinks Trevor Lawrence will ultimately win the job. I wouldn't be surprised either this off-season or next to see some more attrition at WR and DE.
TLDR - Why are you not asking the same question about Alabama?

That makes sense if it was run of the mill players....this year it seems like there is a 5* (high 4*) express train out of there.

You set the table now please feed me. It sounds like you know what’s going on in the kitchen.

The guy I was referring to from last year was a 4 star... It happens every year. We knew Hunter and Trevor wouldn't stay together long. I think most thought it would happen next spring.
Same thing happens at Alabama, even more than at Clemson.

New$pring is a "mega-church" that was founded by a tater. Well known in the state of SC that they've been funneling $$$ thru the "church" to recruits for a good while. Dabo happens to be a member, as well.

Some Gamecock fans have this weird conspiracy theory that a large local church that Dabo and some players go to is paying players. Because if you are going to pay players, then using a church as a front makes sense. It's called Gamecock wishful thinking.

I attended Newspring when it was less than 200 people at the Anderson College auditorium. It was started by people from Anderson College. It drew in a lot of Clemson students because the praise and worship was awesome and the pastor was a live wire. Some Clemson alum were later part of the senior leadership. I didn't love Perry Nobles style, and he later flamed out when the church got huge. Noble often put positive Clemson references in the announcements or message, but he himself was not a Clemson alum.

Some of your own ppl bragged about it being a "legal loophole" bc the NCAA bylaws didn't specifically address it and the $$ wasn't "directly coming from Clemson" so it was okay.

Not really. Maurice Smith comes to mind, but we all know it's because he followed Kirby.
Other than that, the ones that transfer are ones who get passed on the depth chart.

Outside of the weird Josh Belk situation, every one of our transfers has been because they have... Drumroll please... Been passed on the depth chart or had a lack of playing time. It is exactly the same.
