All the window lickers in this thread referencing locale as a main reason for a head baseball coach to make his decision
OK, so every program in the SEC would lose their coach to Pepperdine or Hawaii, or Colorado State? Would they not prefer to live in those places? Who wouldn't?
Manieri came to LSU from Notre Dame. Y'all think he preferred Baton Rouge/New Orleans to South Bend/Chicago? He jumped at the chance to guide an elite program in the elite conference for baseball.
Don't downplay the importance that MSU places on its baseball program. That goes a long way when luring a coach.

They are basing it on number of bars per square mile
