Kirby- One successful year and they place him ahead of Gus and Mullen. Man, when is he going to be judged for the two SECW loses? One he got blown out and the other he choked away the game. Talk about hype.

Eating you alive, isn't it? Gus averages 5 losses a year, and in his one breakout, decent year, he got two phenominal plays that saved him from a 4 loss season, and you still think he is "all that".

I have to ask. What exactly does Gus have to do to make you turn on him and admit he is a minimum 4 loss a year coach?

No, just amazed at the hype. I always thought Kirby was a by product of Saban's success and rode his curtail to a major job, similar to McElwain. I always thought that Bama's secondary was their weak link over the years even with some of the talent they had there. I saw what Gus and Freeze's HS Offenses did to those Ds and felt that Kirby was very vulnerable to a decent QB. It carried over to last year. I guess they are basing it on last years recruiting class.

Gus hasn't lost to Vandy, UT, etc. all in the same year like Kirby did in 2016. And that includes a Jeremy Johnson led year. Swap Auburn and thUGA's schedule last year, and you'd be singing quite a different tune about your beloved Kirby.
