It’s college football, not little league. The first day of fall camp my freshman year of college, our HC addressed the team and one of the first things he said was “I don’t give a frick how good you think you are, I can replace your arse.”

It is what it is.

It's how organizations win. If you don't want to go to Bama because you are afraid of competition, we don't want you. Go play at those schools who think we are their rival.

I feel like the author is trying to paint this in a negative light, but isn't this the way life works? It certainly is the case in my field of work. There is no tenure!
