No, I have been screaming for this a few years now, especially in AUs case. The fans would complain about the Offense and the playcalling (which was a problem), but the real issue was lack of QB Play. Teams pay OCs millions of $, when they should be investing in a quality QB Coach. It is one of the ways you can counter the recruiting of coaches like Saban. The QB is the great equalizer to a great D. A good one still gives you a chance.

The correct answer is to pay the OL coach.
UGA has a great one in Pittman. Maybe 1/3 of Smart's success is attributed to Pittman. Recruiting. Rushing attack. And QB efficiency in the red zone and on 3rd downs.
