Might not matter though except to the gnats they're facing an all over the place Folty in the 1st. Hope he can turn it around and find his location as the game goes on. 1-0 gnats.

What's his name hit a 6th inning homer off Folty, 7 to 3 Braves then the next batter their rookie got tossed for arguing balls and strikes.

Folty has been taking adv of the ump's off the plate strikezone ever since that bad 1st inning and made a pretty nice night, but he's almost at 100 pitches and they better warm somebody up. One of the gnatty coaches got tossed too and the boos were raining down on the umps.

He loaded the bases in the 6th with a wild pitch and they brought in Jackson who left 'em loaded. Not bad... can the bullpen keep it going at gnats park with a 4 run lead? hope so.

The Braves put in Brach to close out the gnats in the bottom of the 9th, no save with the 8 to 3 lead but he shut them down anyway with some help from Swanson's nice double play... and the Braves won 8 to 3. They can win the series tomorrow on facebook at noon. Good luck to Anibal the pitcher tomorrow. Braves are just half a game back of the phillies, who don't play tomorrow so the Braves can tie for 1st with a win.

The nats were really upset with the strike zone all night, Soto came up and I guess said something that pissed the ump off and he got tossed. The nats bench wasn't happy about it and their hitting coach got tossed too.

This. I'll add that Soto was arguing his previous at bat. I imagine that looked odd from the stands since it was inbetween batters and Soto hadn't even swung yet. It's a big no-no for rookies to question the umpires.
