I don't disagree with your premise. I would champion a non-politician like Trump leading things for a bit but honestly, I do wish he would be more civil. But, something to consider, is that he might have to be this way to counter the unprofessional press these days. Our society is being dumbed down. Not just by external forces (like media) but within ourselves also.

You're right on the money. I don't know of another way to combat the animosity of a segment of society as powerful as the press, other than to be extremely abrasive and unpredictable....and find another way(twitter) to get your message out.
