Just rewatched it. Not sure what he did after the play could be seen as "acting like he caught it". It was just a very close play that was hard to tell live.

Amazing really, from the tv vantage point, it looked caught. THen he closes his glove all the way while looking down at it as if in disbelief. He didn't try to act like he was throwing the ball in, etc. Either way, our bats came alive following that and it was glorious to see.
