please do not discuss easter with Jesus. the word easter is based on the pagan god ishtar. Think of it as Resurrection Sunday, etc.

If we want to be technical... Jesus is a pagan name as well... translated to greek as Ioseus or literally... Hail Zeus... Real name is Yeshua.

Ishtar has nothing to do with the word Easter. You're thinking of Eostre, who was a Germanic fertility goddess.
