I agree that Sexton can improve his passing (hitting the inside hand at the numbers more often) but I don’t think that’s a sign of his instincts. Passing is correctable.

At the beginning of the season he was hell bent on drawing a foul at the cup. About two-thirds through he began lobbing to Hall more often. Then at the end he started pulling up for more jumpers. His game evolved quite well during the season as teams compensated to take away his strengths.
