Heard some tragic news ...

Was gone, out of pocket all day but heard what would be very tragic news if true. Haven't been able to confirm it yet.
Has anyone heard anything about Alaina Coates Dad by chance or is this just a horribly bad rumor?
I met him several times. Great guy. Sat with him at several games. Stud of a man and a Gamecock to the core.

its true died of cardiac arrest while driving in Blythewood and ended up crashing in a single MVA

Yep according to reports I've read the autopsy showed he suffered no life-threatening injuries from the auto accident itself: he died from the cardiac arrest.....
