You are correct.

I was going to put the whole "CEO" thing, but I hate that when I see it. Mostly probably because I think potato head. Anyways though, they are the CEO. It comes down to them. Again most of that money is from big donors and foundations. The buyouts are ridiculous. Fk yes they are. But... this is negotiated as part of the job. They earned that from many years of experience. If you dont like that, talk to the AD and Board.
